Responsibilities:
SCOPE
As a Junior Web & Graphics Designer, you will conceptualize, develop, and implement creative communication for web and print media under the direction of the Senior Web & Graphics Designer. Projects will mostly include designing the look and feel of websites, but also expect to work on creating logos, newsletters, and other similar projects. You must be able to work efficiently with little direction in a fast paced work environment.
Requirements:
EDUCATION
• Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Art & Design, Mass Communications, Advertising, Media, or equivalent (exceptional skills and experiences may be used as substitute).
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Extremely artistic and capable of producing website designs that can rival www.templatemonster.com, etc.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
• Knowledge of XHTML and CSS (Valid XHTML and CSS websites only)
• Table-less layout only
• Basic knowledge of Flash
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript
• Detail oriented
• Good command of English
HIGHLY DESIRABLE SKILLS, BUT NOT NECESSARY
• Knowledge of Web Usability
• Knowledge of Web Accessibility and Section 508
• Knowledge of PHP, ActionScript, etc.
• Knowledge of Web Copywriting
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
