Telescope Software AB is a Sweden based company with main focus on customer adapted software solutions. We are currently looking for a responsible, communicative, responsive and self driven web developer with very strong capability to deliver. The work will be performed at our office located in Nova Tierra, Davao, Philippines. It is possible to work from your home 1-2 days per week but you do need to frequently check in and program, as well as mentor the junior developers at times.
Required competence:
--Senior developer with competence as well as a hands on interest in major technologies such as Java, Flash AS, PHP, MySQL, etc.
--Knowledge of major CMS systems such as Joomla, Drupal, etc.
--At least four-five documented large scale professional web projects in your CV.
--A profound interest of designing and building dynamic, smart and robust software solutions.
--Extremely strong in delivering 100% compliant software systems.
--Structured and communicative.
--Responsible, responsive and self driven personality.
--Fluent in English.
It is crucial you have a genuine and unique eye for “the final touch” of a web site. You will often be the only developer on the project; hence your responsibility for the final result will be total. Further more, a hungry, flexible, pragmatic, “go getter” attitude is a winning attitude for this position. In other words, if you see something that needs to be done - just do it!
We are a relaxed organization with room for persons to “grow as they go”, but no on the job training is available so you need to be self confident, creative, professional and “ready to go” from day one. If you do not fit the profile, please do not waste your own or our time.
We prefer to engage you on a free lance basis, but emphasize that this position has a 100% extent, i.e. we expect you to work at least 40 hour per week. The compensation range for this position is considered to be 30 000 - 50 000 PHP depending on the applicants qualifications.
