Job Transfer

The article written by Alonso Kramer

For the last four years my husband has worked in the IT business. He has earned a good living for our family, but last year he was forced to transfer to Texas to keep his job. With the recent economic downturn, his company was forced to make some cuts, and he was reassigned to a job in a different part of the country. While at first it was very hard on me and the children, we have really gotten used to living in a new area, and the children are adjusting quickly. I am always amazed at how quickly children adjust and make new friends. In our new home we have decided to give fixed-rate-energy through texas electricity providers a try. Several of our neighbors do it with positive results. I have been very impressed by the neighborhood we moved into, as everyone has been really friendly and helpful. Coming from the west coast to Texas, we have found that there really is something to be said for southern hospitality. While we are not sure how long we will be in Texas, we are starting to feel like this is our home.
